Finally, finally, Justin Trudeau has spoken about the SNC-Lavalin issue. Now we know he doesn’t think it’s a crisis or even a problem, of course, just an issue. Not that he’s sorry about anything, mind you, he just wishes it hadn’t happened. And one month into the ‘issue’ he has come to this startling conclusion: there has been “an erosion of trust” between himself and Jody Wilson-Raybould.
Someone from the real world — anywhere outside a two-kilometre radius of Parliament Hill — could explain to the Prime Minister that this issue changed quite some ago from an ‘issue’ into something more akin to a dumpster fire.
