A new Fraser Institute Report shows that complaints from Ontario's Liberal government regarding transfer payments from the previous Conservative federal government were based on fallacies. Whereas federal transfers represented 12.0 percent of Ontario’s revenue in 2005/06, that figure had climbed to 16.4 percent in 2015/16.
Never let the facts get in the way of a good whining lament.
Her hands will be flapping like she wants to bitch slap JT when she finds out Alberta's failing economy will result in Ontario having to MAKE transfer payments in 2017 instead of receiving them regardless if the economy has improved in Ontario or not...it's how the transfer payment formula is skewed to always favor Quebec getting money.
