TRY SWALLOWING THESE FACTS
Even though average beer prices in Ontario and Quebec are similar, the Ontario government commodity tax on a case of 24 cans is more than double the Quebec beer tax.
"Ontario Beer Facts is brought to you by Canada's National Brewers (CNB), a national trade association representing Labatt Brewing Company Ltd., Molson Coors Canada and Sleeman Breweries Ltd"
Can someone please start a boycott of these bastards?
I don't live in Ontario but I haven't bought a union-made beer in years. We make our own and sometimes we buy a few growlers from one of the microbreweries. Alley Kat Brewery (Edmonton) makes a decent Pale Ale, and some of the dark beer put out by Bow Valley is pretty good. I find that a lot of the stuff put out by the small breweries doesn't get much of a head on it and it seems kind of flat.

Yes indeed. I posted your question on Small Dead Animals.
DeleteBut a boycott will only work in places where people aren't sheep. So I think Ontario is pretty well permanently screwed.
