ASK HUDAK HOW THAT WENT OVER
Alberta Premier Jim Prentice said he would cut the number of agencies, boards and commissions by 25 per cent by the end of 2015-16.
An amalgamation, by any other name, would surely smell as sweet...
I remember not too many years ago when John Tory had this grand plan to reduce the number of statutes in Ontario. It became quickly apparent that he was really talking about by reduction-by-combining, as opposed to elimination.
