The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.

I was talking to a hunter friend of mine and he tells me that the meat from the trophy "kills" goes to the local African villagers to eat AND the hunting fees are used to fund the conservation areas in dirt poor African countries. So if the lucrative trophy hunting dries up just where will the money come from to fund the game reserves? Talk about the laws of unintended consequences...
Nothing a good boycott wouldn't fix. But I doubt enough hunters even have a thought about this, let alone the ambition to do something about it.
