Meet the "new" Minister of Foreign Affairs: Stephane Dion
While leader of the LPC during the 2008 Federal election Stephane Dion campaigned for "The Green Shift" which was an ecotax on carbon. Canadians said NO to that plan with their votes. Now as Foreign Minister, he gets to do-over with the carbon pricing scheme claiming that climate change is the biggest threat we face.
