Finance Minister Charles Sousa all but confirmed there will be measures to address the strain rising hydro rates have had on consumers this sweltering summer.
“On Monday, we’re going to take an extra step to mitigate some of those costs,” he said
Sousa defended the government’s track record on green energy, which has spiked hydro rates. The move toward wind and solar has come at a cost, he said.
