SHOVING ALBERTA OFF THE CLIFF

On Thursday, Energy Minister Margaret McCuaig-Boyd and Environment Minister Shannon Phillips announced the government will introduce a Renewable Energy Act during the current session of the Alberta legislature.
The pair marched right into the heart of oil country in Calgary and cheerily insisted their goal of generating 30% of Alberta’s electricity from renewable sources by 2030 was just a wish away.
