The Notley government is putting $4.5 million toward a new advertising campaign for its climate change plan, raising the price tag for promoting the environmental initiative to nearly $9 million.
The province said Wednesday that a radio and television campaign launched this week and running to the end of March will contain new information on areas such as “energy efficiency grants, market access, federal actions and rural impacts” as Alberta prepares for a new carbon tax on consumers to be implemented on Jan. 1.
