After months of urging Canadians to stay home, Canada’s public health agency has become the latest entrant into the ongoing ‘vacationgate’ controversy.

First reported Thursday by the Globe and Mail, Dominique Baker — a prominent Canadian social media influencer and manager with the Public Health Agency of Canada’s (PHAC) Centre for Biosecurity, Office of Border and Travel Health — is facing scrutiny after accepting a free vacation to a luxury, all-inclusive resort in Jamaica late last year.
