Ontario’s opposition parties have been adamant that Premier Doug Ford follow the advice of public health officials during the pandemic.
Unless of course they don’t like that advice, in which case they demand Ford follow their political advice.
I guess you could sum it up this way for NDP Leader Andrea Horwath, Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca and Green Leader Mike Schreiner – they want Ford to follow the political science. At least if it leads to more restrictions or COVID measures rather than less.
On Thursday, each of them called for a return to mandatory masking, at least in some locations but not all, which makes even less sense.
