According to the New York Post, Saikat Chakrabarti - the architect behind AOC's meteoric rise from bartender to ball-buster, is being investigated in connection with two political action committees he founded.
The two PACs being probed, Brand New Congress and Justice Democrats, were both set up by Chakrabarti to support progressive candidates across the country.
But they funneled more than $1 million in political donations into two private companies that Chakrabarti also incorporated and controlled, according to Federal Election Commission filings and a complaint filed in March with the regulatory agency.
As the Post notes, PACs are required to adhere to stringent disclosure rules, while the private companies Chakrabarti funneled money into are not.

China is destabilizing the Indo-Pacific, U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper said on Sunday, charging Beijing with predatory economics, intellectual property theft and “weaponizing the global commons”.

Is a college education worth being coerced to listen to the assorted political opinions of people who probably couldn’t function in the world outside of academia unless they were a Democratic presidential candidate with a trust fund?

CURIOUS EVENTS AT WINNIPEG MICROBIOLOGY LAB
The Canadian lab involved in a mysterious RCMP investigation around one of its most acclaimed scientists shipped samples of Ebola and another deadly virus to China earlier this year, says the Public Health Agency of Canada.
There are fears it could be weaponized or cause a widespread epidemic, according to a recent paper by agency researchers.
The viruses were provided to Chinese scientists as part of a “routine” sharing of infectious agents, fulfilling the National Microbiology Lab’s mandate to promote public-health research worldwide, said an agency spokesman.

SHOCKER: ALLEGATIONS OF MISCONDUCT AT UN
The Canadian government is “concerned” by allegations of wrongdoing at a controversial United Nations agency that administers humanitarian aid to Palestinian refugees, but officials have fallen short of saying whether or not future funding will be suspended.
Serious allegations including sexual misconduct and nepotism have been directed at top officials at the UN’s Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
Stephen Harper’s Conservative government had cut annual funding to the organization in 2010 because of allegations it had links to Hamas, a nationalist Palestinian group listed as a terrorist organization in Canada. In 2016, citing humanitarian needs, Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government reinstated funding to UNRWA. It has committed $110 million since then, including a $50 million contribution in October.
