TOWN vs COUNTRY

The CLA is comprised of people who have been attentive to the modern urban tendency to covet and convert ownership of rural assets, through the use of legislative and regulatory takings. Let's postulate; how will that tendency change when the currency wars ultimately impact the economy through a dramatic shift in the velocity of fiat money? Is there an historical case study?
"Near civil war between town and country was a pervasive feature of this break-down in social order. Large mobs of half-starved and vindictive townsmen descended on villages to seize food from farmers accused of hoarding. The diary of one young woman described the scene at her cousin’s farm..."

  2. You are shameless copycats and thieves! ;)

Years ago I read a story by a lady who was in her early teens in Holland during WW2. She said the whole village was constantly hungry but there was one guy who stayed nice and fat. She and her brother hid in a hedge at night and watched him sneak to a little barn or shed and then go back into his house carrying something. They sneaked into the building and found an underground cooler full of sausage and cheese and the next night they went back with friends and cleaned him out and shared it with other villagers. I'm afraid it wouldn't happen so gently these days.
