CALLING BULLSH!T

Grain Farmers of Ontario has filed an application in Ontario's Superior Court of Justice to interpret the province's neonicotinoid regulations as a "legal absurdity"

  1. The comments at the end of the Better Farming link are all telling. First we have the neonicotinoid ban (with no basis in science) to be followed by a ban on GMO crops and lastly the legislated move to organic farming in Ontario. Won't we be the envy of the world when we live in some sort of Mediaeval times where we walk to the local farmers market with our basket of organic herbs to trade or sell for an 8$ dozen of eggs. FORWARD!

  2. If they had grown a set months ago and plugged the 401 with tractors and combines there would be no legal absurdity to fight.

  3. Well, the Grain Farmers don't want to seem to be too aggressive. Wouldn't want to risk the provincial ethanol mandate or Risk Management or.... I think it's what you call being compromised.
