The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.

That is pretty well the way it has worked here in Alberta since the NDP got elected. The livestock guys and the ranchers are clapping and sniffing commie crack.
Wynne may not know squat about farming but she has the farm organizations figured out alright. Never a political ass slung too low that it can't be kissed for a handout.
