THE DISINGENUOUS ALBERTA ENVIRONMENT MINISTER

Shannon Phillips, Alberta's Environment minister blamed the Harper Government for pipelines not getting built.  Phillips said in a press release that "we have made very little progress in that direction under the former federal governments rules."

She said this in response to the federal Liberals changing the way the pipeline process is reviewed in this country, wherein the Liberals have actually increased the barriers to pipeline construction. Apparently Phillips thinks more onerous and more subjective rules will get more projects approved and we know that’s crazy talk.
