Recently the Liberal government fulfilled the election promise to bring in 25,000 refugees to Canada. We can look back here, here and here at the Liberal record on Immigration to Dec.2003-Jan.2005 to Immigration Minister Judy Sgro under the Paul Martin government. Sgro was first elected in 1999 and remains a sitting MP representing Humber River-Black Creek.
