The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
The government says it has reached an agreement in principle with the province's First Nations to loan them up to $268 million to buy up to 15 million shares at $18 per share.
Let's see if I have this figured out...the working poor and retirees on a fixed income, that contribute or have contributed all their working lives, their tax dollars to the Ontario government and are either already disconnected or being threatened by disconnection because they can no longer afford electricity in Ontario...their tax dollars are being lent to the Natives to purchase shares in the electric company that is sinking them financially...have I missed anything?
