The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
Whores for sure. They are just thinking globally. They would be quite willing to drop Alberta to make themselves look good, while continuing to produce oil in tinpot dictatorships that don't respect human rights or the environment.

You have hit upon a big problem in Ontario and Alberta: no opposition presence. At least there is yet some demand in Alberta's population to be free from the intrusions of big government. In Ontario, that desire is just about non-existent.
