MEDICINE HAT BY-ELECTION

Thursday evening nearly 2,000 people showed up at a rally there when the PM blew into town.
While there were some protestors outside Trudeau’s gathering, there wasn’t nearly as much angry opposition as you might expect in a city reeling from the current energy downturn right after Trudeau announced huge new carbon taxes that will keep Medicine Hat reeling for years longer.
This is a riding so blue it’s hard to imagine it ever going Liberal again. When popular former Harper cabinet minister Monte Solberg represented Medicine Hat in Ottawa in the 1990s and 2000s, there were a handful of small polls out in ranching country where not a single ballot was cast for any other party.

  1. A Trudeau doing what a Trudeau does best...giving the finger too Westerners. Why would Pee-Air junior show up in a Conservative bastion like Medicine Hat other than too rub their noses in the fact HE is Prime Minister. From what I heard he also spoke only in French.
