SUNSHINE LIST SALARY INCREASES

A Spectator analysis of 100 public sector organizations across Ontario shows the salaries of top earners increased at nearly twice the rate of inflation from 2005 to 2015.

The average earnings for the top 25 earners at the 100 organizations rose by 32 per cent in the decade, compared to inflation of 18.9 per cent.

The Spectator's exclusive analysis also shows that even after adjusting for inflation, the number of people on the Sunshine List for those 100 organizations nearly doubled over the same period.
