In what demands inclusion into the Top 10 list of Mayor Naheed Nenshi’s most brazen statements since becoming our city’s head honcho is his recent jaw-dropping condemnation of two councillors he accused of showboating.
Well, as that age-old retort beloved of kids everywhere goes: “It takes one to know one.”
Nenshi’s comments were aimed at George Chahal and Jeromy Farkas, who raised separate and ultimately doomed notices of motion calling to review city pension plans, including council’s own. No doubt a prickly subject. Certainly, Nenshi was prickled.
