STEM CELL THERAPY

A closer look at the startling recovery of Gordie Howe

  1. It's highly relevant that ol' Gordie is perhaps the strongest, toughest SOB to ever play pro hockey. In Bobby Orr's book, My Story, he describes the incredible durability of Gordie's constitution (with perhaps a touch of envy), in addition to the awesome speed and skill. Claims Howe is the best ever.
Good story. Glad to hear that Mr. Hockey's still alive and kickin'.

  2. Big Pharma will not like stem cell treatments cutting into their drug sale profits one little bit and do everything they can to discredit it. As stated in the TV program W5 this could be as revolutionary to medicine as the development of antibiotics was...chances are people with MS, ALS and a host of other diseases will also benefit is my guess.
Main stream medicine offered no further treatment options for Gordie Howe after his stroke last fall and recommended he be placed in pallitive care..at 86 he is making remarkable progress that isn't just coincidence IMO.
