The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
This just means that they both agreed that if it went to court details would come out that would be embarrassing to each other. So they all found a way to have the taxpayers cover all the lawyers bills they have run up so far.
