Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberals said they’d do politics differently. Looks like they were true to their words... they’re doing it worse than before. And they need to back down.
“Even Conservatives on their worst days never tried to stifle democracy the way the Liberals are doing today,” NDP leader Thomas Mulcair said in the House of Commons Wednesday, responding to the government’s changes to procedural rules around debates.
