NOVA SCOTIA ELECTION CALLED FOR MAY 30

Leading up to the election call, a flurry of spending announcements across the province fuelled speculation an election was coming. A CBC News analysis of 41 recent commitments showed 70 per cent of those good-news announcements took place in Liberal held constituencies or were primarily to the benefit of those ridings.
