TVO has launched an investigation into journalist Steve Paikin following an allegation of sexual harassment by former Toronto mayoral candidate Sarah Thomson.
Last week, Thomson wrote about the alleged encounter on Women’s Post, a website that she publishes. She claimed that during the 2010 mayoral campaign, she and her assistant had lunch with the host of a “political talk show.”
“Not five minutes into the lunch the host asked me if I would sleep with him,” Thomson wrote. “My assistant almost spit his drink all over the table.”
