CANADIAN GAS PRICES SOAR

Gas prices in Vancouver have set a new North American record, and Canadian consumers can expect the trend to continue, according to GasBuddy.com price analyst Dan McTeague.
During an interview with Vancouver’s CKNW radio, McTeague said Vancouver’s price surpassed the previous record held by Los Angeles in 2008, and “it looks like these prices are here to stay.”
Gas prices on Vancouver’s Lower Mainland hit and an average of $1.619 per litre Monday morning.
