ALEXANDRIA — A tractor convoy to Ottawa, originating in the North Glengarry village of Alexandria, is being organized for Saturday, Feb. 5.
According to the public Facebook group — Farmer Convoy to Ottawa 2.0 — which has 1,500 members, the group intends to “keep it peaceful, but let’s support the truckers!!”
“Vaccinated or not vaccinated, we are all the same, we’re all Canadians and the segregation has got to stop,” said Martin Renaud one of the organizers. “The division that you’re seeing now, I hate that. People are divided, it’s affecting my family now too, and enough is enough.
