CANADA'S RIGHTEOUS ENVIRONMENT MINISTER

McKenna is in Paris attending ministerial meetings in advance of COP21, where the international community hopes to set in place a post-2020 framework for global action on climate change.
Meanwhile, in Quebec, the city of Montreal will be allowed to dump 8 billion litres of sewage into the St. Lawrence River, provided it meets several conditions imposed by the federal government by Dec. 5, the new federal minister of environment and climate change, Catherine McKenna, announced Monday.
