It didn’t take long for Australia’s new Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to tear up his promise to keep Abbott’s climate policies. Now Turnbull appears to have taken the next step. Australians voted overwhelmingly against carbon pricing in the last Federal Election, but for some strange reason carbon pricing now seems to be back on the agenda again.
If you change the names and geography this is eerie similar to us here in Canada. I have read elsewhere that there was only 2 men standing in the way of a global trillion dollar carbon trading scheme developed from deep with in the bowels of Goodman Sachs...Abbott and Harper...and now they are both gone. Funny that eh?
