The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
What a grand leftist scheme to have someone else paying for housing for our new friends the refugees. How long before resentment boils over on all the handouts given from those that struggle to pay?
I did not read very far so don't know if the article mentioned that the affordable units will be paid for by you poor Ontario taxpayers, but you can count on it.
It will be kind of a blended price with those actually purchasing a home paying more for their home to cover the cost of the discounted "affordable" units. A socialist wet dream.
This has nothing to do with making and taking. It is an issue of fairness. I will repeat what I said in another post that is related to the same topic. This is long overdue and with Premier Wynne it should go through. The system is stacked against people like single mothers and new Canadians who are treated like second class citizens only because they don't have the good fortune to be rich.
Some would suggest that rich people became so through hard work, sacrifice, and intelligence. You know that saying; "The harder I work, the luckier I get." Good fortune has little to do with it.
