WIND TURBINES' LEGACY OF COMMUNITY DESTRUCTION

“There are people here that have absolute hatred for others. I have never seen anything so divisive in our community ever, in my entire life,” said Alma-area dairy farmer Tim Martin. “You try to say forgive and forget, but a lot of people say ‘we forgive them but we remember.’ They put their pocketbook ahead of our health and above the community’s well-being, and people don’t forget that.”

  1. The uncaring, greedy buggers deserve all the contempt they get. They didn't give one though to their neighbours health or to the economic impact these stupid mills or panels would have on the electricity bills of the citizens in their province.

    1. True, but the caring didn't happen on the other side either until the problem was in their backyards - so their too late response is purely for selfish reasons. If they had really cared about their neighbours and fellow citizens they would have stood up years ago.

First McGuinty campaigned with his promises of Green Energy, and they said and did nothing.

And then when he was putting together the Green Energy Act, they stayed silent and said nothing.

And then when the GEA came into effect and they started building windmlls and solar panels in other areas, they still stayed quiet and said nothing because it wasn't bothering them.

And when their hydro bills and their neighbours hydro bills went up, they said nothing because they were waiting for someone else to come along and fix things.

And now when the windmills are in their backyards they will whine and cry but they still will not get loud and angry enough to stop things.
