Auto Theft Resources Team is part of the larger district support unit, which along with the break & enter unit and POET, the Prolific Offender Engagement Team, represent an ongoing strategy of focusing on prolific criminals.
“With the alignment of the resources, what we’ve done is compiled a list of offenders who we believe are most the prolific — those most dangerous to the public and flee from police,” said Staff. Sgt. Jodi Gach, who oversees the team.
