Don Cherry noticed it first and expressed his disappointment on Hockey Night in Canada.
“I drove downtown today and never saw one person in Toronto, not one person, wearing a poppy,” he said on Coach’s Corner Saturday. “You would think they would be happy to be here (in a) lovely country.”
