Just like that, the narrative was set. Some media report this story as if a private college expanding its ability of granting theological degrees to some arts diplomas is somehow a bad thing.
Former Ontario premier Kathleen Wynne tweeted: “35 of us in opposition voted against Bill 213 so to its own shame and to the shame of all government members, McVety has their support. @fordnation has signalled that it supports this divisive, dangerous man. Disgraceful.”
Two words stuck out in Wynne’s tweet: “Dangerous” and “shame.”
She should talk. She calls Ford’s “friend” dangerous but never mentions the dangers her friend brought into Ontario education before going to prison for child pornography — to which she’s never showed any shame.
