It is mind boggling to continue to hear the news out of Peel Region, one of Ontario’s worst COVID-19 hotspots, one of the places we are told the virus is spreading inside workplaces.
We have been told for months that workplaces, like food processing plants, warehouses and more are the hotspots for Peel. But once again, Peel Public Health is pushing back on vaccinating those workers.
On Wednesday, health officials again rejected a proposal from the Brampton Board of Trade Vaccination Task Force while also putting off any future discussions of vaccinating in workplaces until next Tuesday.
