It was deja blue for Doug Ford on Thursday night.
The Premier led the provincial Tories to back-to-back majorities, with large swaths of the province going blue including areas previously held by opposition parties.
At deadline, the Tories were leading or winning in 80 ridings, up from 76 in 2018, and if those results hold Ford will be the first PC premier in 67 years to increase his seat count after winning two majorities in a row, last achieved by former PC premier Leslie Frost in 1955.
