Davies, who has lived in Ottawa and taught at Carleton University the past 20 years, believes the Trudeau Liberal government has fostered the predicament the country is in.
“We've got a system that has gone, absolutely. It's madness. That's what it is. And, it has been nurtured, developed, and fed by this Trudeau machine that has just destroyed so many of the values and freedoms. We have landmarks being renamed, statues being destroyed, our history being evaporated or eradicated. I always understood that a nation that did not know its history is fated to repeat it,” Davies said.
“It is frightening to me as a Canadian that I am seeing our democracy destroyed so willfully in a manner that is just--it's not Canada anymore. And to claim that it's a country of tolerance, when they exhibit almost psychopathic intolerance towards the freedoms we have under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.”
