The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
Saw an add on tv last night from the elementary teachers federation explaining how indispensable they all are.I wondered about the timing but this explains it. Should be fun seeing the hag biting the hand that got her elected. And speaking of education,Hudak had intended to scrap the provincial grant to university students as part of his cost cutting plan. The liberals, of course, used that against him and promised to maintain the grant, to get elected. They did maintain the grant but have anounced a tuition increase of 1,000$ starting next year. Lets hope they screw the other special interest groups that helped elect them as skillfully as they did the students.
Isn't there a bible passage about this? Something about the lambs lying down with the lions...or was it the weasels lyin' to the sheep...something like that.
My climate change / big government plans: cut and stack more wood for longer winters. Obtain another large propane tank for on-site storage. Service all electrical generators. Top up ammo supplies. Train kids to shoot. Barter / trade / deal in cash amap. Convert cash savings to precious metals. Erect Landowner Association - No Trespass signs. Yup. That oughta do it.
