The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
I am more curious about what the Catholic church will do. I expect it will do absolutely nothing. It won't fire her, it won't discipline her, and it won't remove her from her position. And if the church does nothing about it, that means that it is as valueless (in the truest sense of the word) as politicians and political parties.
300 plus members in the House and how many of them would have the guts to take expulsion from their party ranks rather than fold on a matter of principle? Probably not a dozen in the whole bunch.
She is a perfect Liberal, maybe a perfect politician because she will say whatever it takes to get elected.
