ON GOV'T GIVES $25M TO FIGHT TORONTO CRIME

The provincial government plans to hand Toronto $25 million to help combat the city’s deadly spike in gang and gun violence, the Sun has learned.
“An announcement will come this coming week that there will be $25 million budgeted for Toronto Police over a four-year period,” a source close to the issue told the Sun Friday.
Premier Doug Ford criticized the former Liberal government for cutting anti-gun funding and promised to allocate money to Toronto and Ottawa police to fight growing guns and gang crime.
Hmmm.... $25 million....isn't that the amount Premier Ford said he would save by getting rid of 22 members of Toronto City council?  A perfect circle - well done, Doug!
