The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
Remember how it was like that here in Canada before we outlawed the use of coal as a power source? Oh now wait. Now that I think back, I can't remember any air pollution like that here. As I recall, we developed particulate scrubbers and flue-gas desulfurization equipment - but that wasn't good enough for politically-motivated McGuinty-esque fools.
But...but...the Chinese have to burn coal to be making all the plastic Christmas trees and other crap we gobble up over here at Walmart... Don't you worry when Justy-of-the-Hair is PM he will have us all paying through the nose for clean air (that we already have).
