The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
Great question, but no. Those subsidies were akin to pissing our hard-earned money off the side of the Valleyfield bridge and watching it blend and disappear into the larger stream of global crony-capitalist finance.
I wonder which company has sucked the most millions out of the Canadian taxpayer over the years. Bombardier is certainly in the top five. The auto companies would be in there too along with Quebec shipyards.
