Lilley: If you missed the announcement from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday, the federal government is investing $15 billion in public transit over eight years.
Why would Trudeau make a big announcement about transit funding that will start more than five years from now? If we had an election today, we could easily have another one before this funding kicked in!
Could this be because Trudeau is desperate to change the channel away from his government’s failure on vaccines and the pandemic in general?
