HOW"S THAT SUPPORT OF THE WYNNE LIBERALS WORKING OUT FOR YA OFA?

"Some animals are more equal than others" was a rule from the book Animal Farm. Seems it is also the rule for Ontario farms when it comes to the debt retirement charge on Hydro One bills:
On April 23, 2014, the government announced that it is proposing to remove the DRC cost from residential users’ electricity bills after December 31, 2015. This would save a typical residential ratepayer about $70 per year. The DRC is to remain on all other electricity users’ bills until the residual stranded debt is retired — this has been estimated to occur by the end of 2018.

  1. With all the industries closing down and moving out they have to make up the revenue shortfall somehow.

  2. We're in prison. After your cellmate has his way with ya, you just kinda get used to it and accept it eh? Ain't that the Canadian way?
