The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
I remember the signs that residents of that area had posted when Mirabel was in the planning process. The land outline being expropriated looked exactly like a bandit sticking a revolver out. Turns out the taxpayers really did get robbed. Time ticks on....and now there will be a whole new generation of p*ssed off farmers that may see the pittance sweetheart deal for land rental end with the demolition of the airport if they have to re-buy the ground.
Otherwise...what Pepsi George said only minus the gloves for Justy.
