The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
Austerity will only come to Ontario after every method possible to raise taxes and fees on the private sector has been imposed and there is still not enough money to maintain the bloated public sector. There is nothing to look forward to in this province but higher taxes and having Toronto's values imposed on us all.
"If Ontario is to maintain any fiscal credibility, and avoid ruinous ratings cuts, there is significant austerity ahead." IF?? Why would anyone think for one second that fiscal credibility is an issue for this government? It obviously isn't to the voters; almost seven out of ten of them voted Liberal or NDP.
They just gave Liars and Crooks carte blanche to tax and borrow like no tomorrow. The thought that prohibitive interest rates will be the cost of doubled debt has obviously never crossed their tiny minds or entered their absent consciences.
Your 100 percent right on that Jamie. There is no chance that smart thinking will ever turn this province around. We got screwed 6 years ago and we are not going to let it happen again. We are moving west.

DeleteToronto and values in the same sentence...now that's funny!
