The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
Down here in South Glengarry, the presbyterians have an honour roll of church members who fought and died in WWII to stop the evil antiSemite sonsabitches that posed such a terrible threat to liberty and human dignity. The assholes so-called presbyterians referenced here don't represent my community or my church!
Same as in these parts. Quite a few of my neighbours are Presbyterians and none of them would put up with this guff. I bet 90 percent would switch churches if they tried that here in Canada.
Funny how selective "courage" is. They speak out against Israel, but remain absolutely silent about the brutal treatment of women and religious minorities in Islamic regimes.
Last year the Moderator of the PC of Canada made a trip to the ME and then opened his stupid mouth about the suffering of the Palestinians at the hands of the Israelis. I wrote the council and told them to stick to praying and leave lefty politics to the NDP.
Moral relativism. Granola crunching lefties will protest Canadian oil until the cows come home, but don't have the guts to go to Saudi Arabia to do the same thing. Israel, that evil state, actually has the nerve to support women's rights, making it the logical target for boycott.
You might be on to something, there. Attack the guys who makes us look bad. Like I said before, we don't grace the Christian churches very often these days. If I want politics and yellow relativism, I'll tune into CTV TWO for Question Period in the Ledge.

ReplyDeleteYou have a good point there Hughie. I don't give my offerings so that they can invest it and make money.
