The Canadian Landowner Alliance advocates for provincial legislation that recognizes property rights, and, that the Federal Government of Canada enshrines property rights in the Charter of Rights and freedoms.
Those draft dodgers were the very roots of what is now our full blown leftist academics and they have had decades to set the tone within Canadian universities.
A bunch of them moved into an old mill site west of town back in the late sixties and early seventies. They tried to do a commune but they were so useless they would have starved in Eden. I remember once the head hippy draft dodger told the local paper that the locals hated them because of their politics. The next week our Mayor corrected him and said we didn't like them because they were lazy and they stank. After about five years they all headed towards Vancouver.
